Dr Matthew Valentine

Dr Valentine has been working in General Practice for more than 12 years. He completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2000 before undertaking his Internship and Residency at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He then spent five years as a Medical Officer with the Royal Australian Air Force, where he completed several overseas deployments and coordinated aeromedical retrievals both within Australia and internationally.

Dr Valentine enjoys all aspects of General Practice and provides care for patients of all ages, from children through to adults. He has particular interests in aviation medicine, minor skin surgery and No Needle No Scalpel vasectomy procedures.

As an officially accredited Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) with CASA, Dr Valentine is qualified to perform aviation medical examinations for pilots and air traffic controllers.

Outside of work, Dr Valentine enjoys spending time with his family, as well as running, hiking and mountain bike riding.
