Dr Matthew Valentine, a South Australian graduate, has been performing vasectomies in Brisbane since 2008, having initially trained in the traditional technique with Dr Silver. He has trained further in the USA, specialising in the No Scalpel Vasectomy technique. He conducts vasectomies at The Gap, Montserrat Day Hospitals (north Lakes and Taringa), Southport (Vasectomy Venue), and Marie Stopes Australia (Bowen Hills, Robina, Townsville, Adelaide, with visiting clinics in Canberra and Melbourne).
 

Vasectomy 15 minute procedure (same day pre-operative consult and procedure) 

• Patients have their pre-operative counselling and procedure on the same day.
• The total cost is $795. You will receive $228 back from Medicare, resulting in a total out of pocket cost of $567.
• We do require a $100 booking fee for all procedures. This is subtracted from the procedure day fee when paying for your vasectomy. You may change your appointment but the booking fee may be forfeited if you fail to attend, or the booking is cancelled or changed less than 48 hours before the vasectomy appointment time.
