Dr. Prasad, with a comprehensive background in General Practice, holds a particular focus on Adolescent, Mental Health, and Chronic Disease Management. Her primary passion, however, lies in Women's Health, backed by four years of vocational clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Fiji.
During her tenure in Fiji, Dr. Prasad served as the secretary of the Standards Committee and chaired the Education Committee - Central Faculty at the Fiji College of General Practitioners. Actively involved in organising educational programs for GPs, she also conducted health awareness programs 'on air.'

A compassionate advocate for preventative medicine and holistic well-being, Dr. Prasad dedicates her spare time to the Australian NGO, Health In Kind, contributing to community outreach medical programs, particularly for women, children and adolescents.
Having attended a United World College in Canada in 1995, Dr. Prasad gained exposure to diverse cultural backgrounds, enriching her understanding of social dynamics impacting individual and communal well-being from a young age.
