Welcome to Walton Bridge Medical Centre Waterworks Road. Previously known as SmartClinics Walton Bridge, we have recently undergone a clinic rebrand, but you can rest assured that the same wonderful team members and experienced GPs have remained the same. New and past patients are both welcome to our clinic!

You'll find our clinic at 976 Waterworks Road, The Gap. We are near the Day & Night Pharmacy on Waterworks Road, outside The Gap Village Shopping Centre. The clinic is open 7 days with some after hours appointments available during the week.

There is ample free parking in the shopping centre and near our clinic entrance. We also offer on-site pathology services.

At this practice, nurses also provide services to our patients and support to the doctors. This includes monitoring and advice for people with diabetes, heart disease, health information, infant vaccinations, spirometry, ECGs, 24hr ambulatory blood pressure checks and wound dressings.

The GPs at this practice also provide a home visiting service to patients of the practice who reside in the local area – this area extends to The Gap, Ashgrove, Keperra, Ferny Grove, Ferny Hills and Bardon. The service is to provide care to patients too sick or infirm to attend the surgery and in emergencies. Doctors are available by phone to discuss urgent matters, which should be notified to reception to allow a prompt response. If the matter is life threatening please ring 000 first.
