You can now see a doctor from Walton Bridge Medical Centres from the comfort of your home with our convenient Private Telehealth appointments. Speak with a doctor who has access to your medical records and understands your health history, ensuring continuity of care. Telehealth is ideal for follow-up visits, prescription renewals, or when you can’t make it to the clinic.

What does it cost?

• Medicare-eligible Telehealth standard consult: If you’ve had a face-to-face appointment in the last 12 months, book a standard consult up to 20 minutes for $61.10 ($105 fee with a $43.90 rebate).
• Private Telehealth appointment: If you haven’t been to a Walton Bridge Medical Centre in over 12 months, you can book a short 6-minute appointment for $65 (no Medicare rebate).

The doctors at Walton Bridge Medical Centres are passionate about providing excellent care and would love to see you again. Just one face-to-face visit each year allows you to access Medicare-eligible Telehealth appointments for the following 12 months, giving you the convenience of Telehealth with the continuity of care you know and trust.

When you book a telehealth appointment at our clinic, you will now receive an SMS from us requesting your credit card details to hold your booking. This SMS will come from HotDoc and is secure and safe to use. No funds will be deducted from your card until after your appointment.

Please note that not all GP appointments are suitable for a telehealth consultations. This is at your doctor’s discretion. Telehealth is not suitable for you if you are:

• A new patient who wants a telehealth appointment
• A new patients seeking new medication
• Skin checks and minor procedures
• We do not currently offer video calls
