Dr Matthew Valentine

**From 10th March, 2024 Dr Valentine will only be seeing patients for Vasectomies or Aviation Air Crew Medicals. For all other health appointments after this time, please select another GP from our practice.**

Dr Valentine has been working in General Practice for over 12 years. He completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2000. Following a two year Internship and Residency at Royal Adelaide Hospital Dr Valentine spent 5 years working fulltime as a Medical Officer with the Royal Australian Air Force. This included several overseas deployments, and coordination and conduct of aeromedical retrievals both overseas and within Australia.

Dr Valentine is an officially accredited Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) with CASA and maintains an avid interest in all aspects of aviation medicine.

Dr Valentine also regularly performs vasectomy procedures from our discreet medical centre on Glen Affric Street in The Gap.

Dr Valentine is married with a four year old daughter. In his spare time he enjoys running, hiking, and mountain bike riding.
